The Automatic Recirculation Valve is a multifunctional valve whose purpose is to ensure a pre-determined minimum flow is assured through the pump it is protecting. This protection function is necessary because centrifugal pumps suffer from over heating, cavitation, and can be damaged if they are accidentally allowed to run dry.

Automatic recirculation valves are self acting valve which accomplishes its task mechanically without the need of an external power source. They combine reverse flow and bypass functionality. This design is used in the widely in the power, paper and pulp, maritime, refining, and chemical industries.

Full flexibility is offered on the form flanged or butt weld end connections to ANSI or other international flange standard. Equally full flexibility is available for materials of constructions to ensure compatibility with the flowing medium.
