Multihole cage guided trim control valves are used widely in the process industries for a heavy duty services where V-port or contoured plug are unsuitable.  The Multihole cage guided trim is capable of managing large pressure drops and recduces the negative effects of erosion, cavitation, and noise.  The rangeability is approx. 50, the recovery factor approx. 0.95.
